Russian media delegation visits SANA

Damascus, SANA-A delegation of Russian media institutions visited Thursday the Syrian Arab News Agency HQ in Damascus, inspecting the mechanism of work here.

SANA Director-General Ahmad Dawa briefed members of the delegation on  the services broadcast by the agency  in 9 languages.

“SANA is part of the Syrian national media system which has been able to unveil the realities and convey them to the Syrian society in spite of the media war launched by some Arab and western mass media,” Dawa said.

He affirmed that the Syrian media is committed to offer the truth and it will not yield to the blockade and the campaigns.

Dawa pointed out that SANA will sign a number of agreements with some news agencies in the framework of its endeavors to develop the news system, particularly after adding the service of video coverage.
