Ten civilians injured in terrorist rocket attacks on Damascus and Homs

provinces, SANA – Ten civilians injured in terrorist rocket attacks on old city of Damascus and Ikrima neighborhood in Homs on Monday.

In Damascus, three civilians were injured on Monday in a terrorist rocket attack on the Old City in Damascus.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that a rocket shell fired by terrorists fell near Jamil al-Shatti School in al-Qaimariya neighborhood in the Old City, injuring two 11th grade students and a teacher who were rushed to the Red Crescent Hospital.

Four civilians were, also, wounded in a terrorist attack with a rocket shell on the ancient Bab Touma neighborhood in Damascus.

A police source told SANA that terrorists fired a shell that smashed into the roof of al-Fursan hotel in Bab Touma, an ancient neighborhood in Old Damascus. The source confirmed the injury of four civilians.

The attack left material damage in the area, according to the source.

In Homs city, three more civilians were injured in a terrorist rocket attack on Ikrima neighborhood.

A local source told SANA’s correspondent in Homs that two rocket shells fired by terrorists fell in al-Ushaq Street and near Qutaiba School in the bustling residential neighborhood, inflicting wounds of varying severity on three civilians.

The source added that the attack also caused material damages to shops, homes, and cars.
