Syrian Player, al-Sufi qualifies for World Billiards Championship semi-final

Warsaw SANA- Syrian national team player for billiards, Muhammad al-Sufi, qualified for the semi-final round of the World Championship,  which is currently being held in Poland.

Al-Sufi beat the four-time World Champion and winner of European Open Pool Championship, Austrian billiards player Albin Ouschan, 11-8, to be qualified for the golden square in 14 unprecedented achievements of any Arab player.

Al-Sufi is the owner of the gold medal of the nine-ball singles competition in the West Asian combined Arab Championship for Billiards and Snooker Championship.
