Over 60 Russian soldiers liberated from Ukrainian captivity

MOSCOW,SANA-A total of 63 Russian servicemen, including people of “sensitive category” were returned from Kiev-controlled territory to Russia, the Russian Defense ministry told reporters Saturday.

“A complicated negotiations process resulted in 63 Russian servicemen returned from Ukrainian territory controlled by the Kiev regime,” the Ministry said.

In particular, people of “sensitive category” were returned thanks to the UAE mediation, the Ministry added.
“The group of liberated Russian servicemen includes people of sensitive category, whose exchange has become possible thanks to the UAE’s mediation efforts,” the Ministry said.

All servicemen are currently on Russian territory, the Ministry noted, adding that “they are being provided with necessary medical aid, as well as with an opportunity to contact their relatives.”
