Weight lifter Asaad obtains gold and silver medals at Mediterranean games

Algiers, SANA-Weight lifter Maan Asaad obtained on Monday the gold medal of “the clean and Jerk” competition within the Mediterranean games being held in Oran city.

Asaad gained the medal in the competition of over 102 KG weight.

Earlier, Asaad obtained the silver medal at the snatch competition within the same competition.

Asaad gained the silver medal after lifting 197 KG. The gold medal went for Algerian player Walid Bidani who lifted 202 KG, while the bronze one went for Egyptian player Ahmad Jaber.
