First batch of students from Lebanon arrives in country to take exams

Damascus countryside, SANA- The first batch of basic and secondary education students who come from Lebanon arrived in the country to take exams, Director of Damascus countryside Education, Maher Kamal Faraj, announced on Saturday.

‘The number of students who crossed the Syrian-Lebanese border yesterday evening reached 253, including 93 students of general secondary certificate and 160 students for the basic education ones’, Faraj told SANA.

He hailed the efforts exerted by all authorities concerned to facilitate the entry of students and their arrival at special host centers.

He noted that this step comes within the efforts exerted by Education Ministry to deliver education to all students without exception.
