Russian air defense systems shot down about 90 Turkish-made Bayraktar drones

Moscow, SANA- A Russian source has revealed that since the beginning of the special military operation to protect Donbass, Russian air defense systems have managed to destroy about 90 Turkish-made Bayraktar drones, adding that this number does not include aircraft that were destroyed on the ground with high-precision winged missiles.

The source told RIA Novosti that Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles are among the easy targets for Russian anti-aircraft missile systems such as Tor-M2, Pantsir and Buk-M3 due to their relatively large size, low speed and poor maneuverability.

The source added that these Turkish drones operate according to an autonomous visual navigation system and can attack only one target at a time.
