Terrorists hinder delivery of humanitarian aid in Yarmouk Camp

 

Damascus, SANA –The armed terrorist organizations on Friday opened fire on the humanitarian distribution centers in Rama Street while the families were receiving their aid for the fifth consecutive week.

Director- General of the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees Ali Mustafa told SANA that the terrorist organizations started to shoot fire on the distribution site upon the arrival of representatives of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to prevent the citizens from receiving their food, health and relief aid.

Mustafa added that the convoy and the UNRWA and the Palestinian Red Crescent’s teams were compelled to leave the site.

The Authority has distributed nearly 56008 food packages and 11616 medical baskets since January 30th, 2014.
