Health Ministry: 103 new coronavirus cases recorded, 21 other cases recover, 5 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Saturday announced that 103 new coronavirus cases were recorded, adding that 21 other cases recovered, while 5 passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 27,539, of which 22,410 have recovered while 1,998 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22^nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported on the 29^th of the same month.
