Temperatures to drop, yet still above average

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to drop, yet they will remain from 3 to 6 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be warm with some scattered clouds, while it will become relatively cold at night over the mountains, warning against fog in the early morning in the central and al-Qalamoun regions.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/12, Daraa 30/14, Lattakia 23/13, Aleppo 26/12 and Deir Ezzor 31/18.
