Syrian expatriate conveys his homeland image through his music to Russian cities

Moscow, SANA-Syrian expatriate artist, Kamal Ballan, conveyed his music to the cities of Siberia in northern Russia, where he performed five cultural artistic concerts titled “Syria is the cradle of civilizations.”

The concerts, which were attended by a large number of members of the Syrian Arab community and the Russian people, included musical and lyrical performances, in addition to screening a documentary film about the Syrian civilization and its most important historical and tourist attractions with a  soundtrack  composed by Ballan.

In a statement to SANA correspondent, the artist stated that he wanted, through his concerts, to deliver a message to the world that war and terror cannot erase thousand-years civilization.

“Syria will remain rich in the culture of life and man,” Ballan said, adding that the concerts were distributed among the cities of Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk and Leninsk Russian Federation.
