Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Hunger-striking Palestinian prisoner Maher al-Akhras thanked Syria for its honorable stances and support towards the Palestinian cause, expressing the hope that the Syrian people, government and army will continue to support the Palestinian cause.
Al-Akhras, who has been on hunger strike for 90 consecutive days, expressed, in a video, his pride in the Syrian people and army’s resilience in the face of the conspiracy and the foreign and terrorist war waged against their country through exploiting extremist terrorist groups.
He said that Syria will triumph over the takfiri criminals and their supporters and will liberate all its lands from them.
He also thanked Russia and its President Vladimir Putin for supporting his issue and the attempt to find a solution to it.
Ak-Akhras continues for the 90 consecutive days a hunger-striking in protest against the Israeli occupation continued crimes against the Palestinian prisoners at the time that the occupation authorities reject in a flagrant violation of the international law and international human rights to release him despite of that humanitarian and Palestinian organizations have expressed deep concern regarding his health.
