QSD militia storms al-Baghuz town in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, kidnaps a number of its citizens

Deir Ezzor,SANA – The US occupation forces-backed QSD militia carried out a new raids campaign and kidnapped a number of civilians in al-Baghuz town in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside

Local sources told SANA reporter that an armed group affiliated with QSD militia stormed on Friday al-Baghuz town in Deir Ezzor countryside and raided a several houses in Al-Alawi neighborhood in the town and kidnapped five of the town’s residents and took them to unknown destination.

The sources pointed out that QSD militia is trying to suppress the growing popular attempts to expel it, along with the US occupation forces, from the region, by carrying out raid campaigns against the background of targeting its headquarters and points of its deployment in al-Jazeera region.

Deir Ezzor countryside has witnessed, during the past weeks, popular demonstrations calling for the expulsion of the US occupation and QSD militia, which has been persistent in harassing the people, stealing their properties, besieging a number of villages and towns, arresting dozens of young men and targeting notables and tribal sheikhs, and stealing the sources of al-Jazzera region.
