Health Ministry: Two new Coronavirus cases in Syria, two existing cases recovered

Damascus, SANA – Two new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were registered in Syria on Friday, bringing the number of the cases in the country to 47, the Health Ministry said.

Later in the evening, the Ministry announced that two of the previously registered Coronavirus cases have recovered.

With this, 29 of the registered cases have recovered so far, and three others died, the first of which having been registered on March 29th, according to the statement of the Ministry.

Last March 22, the first case of Coronavirus was registered in Syria in a person who had come from abroad.
