Remarkable participation of Syrian companies in Cairo Fashion & Tex exhibition

Cairo, SANA_ The stands of the Syrian companies participating in Cairo Fashion & Tex (Cairo Int’l Fashion and Textile Exhibition), currently held in Cairo at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC), witnessed remarkable turnout by visitors.

The companies participating at the three-day important economic event showcase a wide variety of women, men and kids’ fashion.

Cairo Fashion & Tex (Cairo Int’l Fashion and Textile Exhibition) is the first and only international exhibition specialized in yarn, textile, garment and its trimming supplies and accessories in Egypt.

“The Syrian Industry is still distinguished and able to compete in the markets despite the difficult crisis Syria has faced”, Dr.  Bassam Darwish, Syrian Charge de’ Affairs in Cairo, said during his visit to the Syrian stands at Cairo Fashion & Tex Exhibition.

He added that the Syrian industrialists are keen on participating actively in International forums and fairs to be the best ambassadors for their country.

Darwish underlined that the participation of the 150 Syrian companies in the exhibition is a clear message to the world that Syria will remain strong and steadfast and its people are determined to rebuild their beloved country.

Head of the Syrian community in Egypt, the businessman Basel Summaqieh, said that the Syrian product has a distinctive imprint which everyone realizes, and the Syrian industry always keeps pace with industrial and technical development.

In turn, Mohamed Al-Sharif, Head of the exhibition committees of the Arab Federation of Exhibitions, who is also the director of Cairo Fashion & Tex exhibitions, stressed that the Syrian presence in this event is remarkable and distinguished, expressing his pride in Syria’s participation in all events.

Cairo Fashion & Tex Exhibition will last till the 8th of March.
