Aleppo city, Red Cross discuss relief, humanitarian aid

Aleppo, SANA- Aleppo Governor Mohammad Wahid Akkad affirmed Monday that the government is committed to facilitate the work of the humanitarian organizations and offer them all needed aid to be able to deliver their services and assistance to all affected citizens.

The Governor discussed with deputy chairman of the International Red Cross Committee in Damascus Akhtiar Aslanov  the situation of the relief and humanitarian work  as well as means of delivering the aid to the affected people.

Aslanov, for his part, said the international committee has approved the work plan for the next year in Damascus with a budget of 165 million Swiss Franc , increasing by 30% in comparison with the current year.
