Provinces, SANA –The Army on Saturday continued to launch successful military operations against the terrorist organizations in several areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Army units achieved a rapid advance on several axes in Adra al-Balad town in eastern Ghouta, Damascus countryside, in a wide military operation that began on Saturday morning against terrorists’ dens in the town.
A military source told SANA that after establishing control on Adra al-Balad, army units continued to advance in several directions into the town, tightening control over the gas factories and the building blocks to the south of Mercedes building, killing numbers of terrorists and destroying their weapons.
The source added that the army discovered a 200-meter-long, 4-meter-deep tunnel extending from Tal al-Sawan to Adra al-Balad that terrorists were using for movement and transferring weapons.
In conjunction with the military operation, added the source, army units carried out a string of operations in Tal a-Sawan, al-Bilalieh, Zamalka, Douma, and Ain Tarma valley in eastern Ghouta, which resulted in destroying dens for terrorists, with many of them getting killed or wounded.
Army units also targeted gatherings of terrorists in the areas of al-Rawda Street in Khan al-Sheeh farms and al-Hindi farm at Nestle street in the countryside, leaving many terrorists dead and others wounded.
A military source said that army units destroyed terrorists’ concentrations in Tal a-Sawan, al-Bilalieh, Zamalka, Douma and Ain Tarma valley in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
Numbers of terrorists were killed and others were wounded, added the source.
A military source told SANA’s reporter that an army unit clashed with terrorists in al-Doukhaniyeh neighborhood and killed and injured a number of them. Among the dead were Mohammad Rajab, Jihad al-Hafeiri, and Moafaq Noureddin.
The army destroyed a hideout for terrorists in Ein Tarma and continued advancing in Jobar, where a number of terrorists’ fortifications were obliterated and a number of terrorists were killed or injured. Terrorists Anwar Abdul-Aziz, Osama al-Rayis, Hassan Taama, and Samir al-Ashqar were identified among the dead.
In Harasta and Douma, the army pursued terrorists and targeted their hideouts, killing and injuring a number of them. Among the dead were Tareq Abdul-Min’em, Hamza Shawlah, Alaa al-Shaghouri, Ahmad al-Sheikh Saeed, and Anwar Abdul-Aziz.
Meanwhile, the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings and concentrations near al-Qasimyeh and al-Baharyeh and killed and injured a number of terrorists, destroying their weapons and ammunition.
In Aleppo, the army units killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in a number of areas in the province.
A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in Ourm, Ekarda, Banan, Khan al-Assal, al-Kastillo, Qabtan al-Jabal, al-Mintar, Kifr Abeed, Maskana, Lahba, Koroum Aziza, Sheikh Saad, al-Amryeh and al-Sheikh Khidr, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying dozens of vehicles that were equipped with heavy machineguns.
Army units targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the villages and towns of Tal al-Tayyar, Sabt, Qamja, Jaada, and Tal Kawn Aftar in Ein al-Arab area in Aleppo countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Meanwhile, Units of the armed forces killed scores of terrorists and injured others, among them non-Syrians, as they targeted their gatherings in several villages in the countryside of the central province of Homs, in addition to destroying their vehicles and ammunition.
A military source told SANA reporter that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Habra al-Gharbiye and Mas’ada in the eastern countryside of the province, killing several terrorists and destroying four cars equipped with heavy machineguns.
The source added that the army foiled two infiltration attempts by terrorists into al-Wae’r orchards and Um Sharshouh town, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a vehicle. Another army unit killed several terrorists in al-Teibeh in al-Houleh area in Homs countryside, destroying a car which they were using east to al-Teibeh bridge.
Other terrorists were killed and injured near the sulfur factory in al-Rastan area, including one f their leaders, terrorist Yehia al-Ashtar. In the same context, units of the armed forces targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Wadi al-Meir in the southern countryside of al-Qseir, killing most of them, including the Palestinian terrorist Salem Omar al-Shami.
A truck and a car carrying terrorists and ammunition as well as a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun were also destroyed in Rasm Hamida village. A military source said that army units killed terrorists and wounded others in al-Rastan, al-Zaafaraneh village south of Hasyaa, Um Sharshouh and al-Tibeh village in al-Houla area in Homs countryside.

The Army units killed around 80 terrorists and injured others in a series of operations targeting their hideouts and concentrations in a number of areas in Hama countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army killed 62 Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists and injured dozens more in Morek area, destroying a rocket launcher and 7 vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
The source added that the army targeted terrorists’ hideouts in the areas of al-Masafina, Rakayat Sajna, killing 18 terrorists and injuring others. Two vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition were destroyed.
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in the village of Kafr Zita in Hama countryside, destroying two 57mm mortar launchers
The army killed a number of terrorists and their leaders in Idleb countryside, destroying their vehicles and a factory for hand-made rockets in Ma’arat al-Numan.
A military source told SANA that the Army targeted a gatherings for terrorists near the town of Binnish, killing several terrorists, among them Ahmad Suleiman Maznouk.
Army units killed and injured many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Daraa southern province.
A military source told SANA reporter that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in the surrounding of Mansharet al-Hajar in Ataman town and in the surrounding of Khirbat Ghazala in the countryside of the province, leaving a number of them dead and injured.
A military source said that an army unit has thwarted an attempt by terrorists to sneak towards a military checkpoint in Khirbet Ghazaleh, killing and wounding numbers of them.
The source added that a unit of the armed forces killed many terrorists and destroyed a car equipped with a heavy machinegun they were using in the town of Deir al-Adas in the countryside.
Three cars were also destroyed to the south of Busr al-Harir in the eastern countryside, and all terrorists onboard were killed.
The army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Ataman town in Daraa countryside, and destroyed a pickup truck equipped with a heavy machinegun.
