Skies clear to partly cloudy, rain showers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise, yet remain from 2 to 3 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by western wet airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy; rain showers will develop on the southern and southeastern areas.

The winds will be eastern to southeastern of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 17/09, Daraa 18/09, Homs 16/08, Hama 17/08, Lattakia 20/14, Aleppo 16/07 and Deir Ezzor 16/08.
