Syrian expatriate distributes aid among the poor in Daraa with a value of SYP 3 millions   

Daraa, SANA – Syrian expatriate and businessman Tamer al-Balbisi from Daraa Province has distributed food aid for about 500 displaced and needy families in Ezra’a in the province and its countryside.

Al-Balbisi, who resides in Kuwait,  also paid the fares of four airplanes to transport Syrian expatriates from Kuwait to participate in the presidential elections in the country.

Al-Balbis’s initiative came from his belief that he must stand by his compatriots specially in the time of crisis.

He is also working in coordination with all the concerned bodies to start the restoration of schools and to distribute water tanks among the poor.

Al-Balbisi affirmed that the Syrian people in the homeland who have remained steadfast in the face of the current crisis are in need for support by Syrian expatriates to enhance their steadfastness.

The value of the aid provided by al-Balbisi reached SYP 3 million.
